My name is Sundari Zamora, though most of my clients know me as “Ms. Sunny.” Originally from rural New Mexico, I now call the Austin area home.
I am a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist and hold my Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP). I earned both my bachelor's and master's degrees in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Oklahoma State University (Go Pokes!) and have had the privilege of working with individuals across the lifespan and from all different backgrounds.
My experience includes early intervention in a private practice setting, supporting adults with disabilities in their homes and their community, and serving school age children via telehealth. These experiences have given me a deep appreciation for the unique strengths, challenges, and communication goals that each individual brings to therapy.
Like many clinicians, I was introduced to teletherapy during the COVID-19 pandemic—and to my surprise, I loved it! Since then, I've continued providing virtual speech and language services and have seen firsthand how effective, engaging, and convenient teletherapy can be. I enjoy helping clients build communication skills in the environments where they learn, play, and connect every day.
My approach to therapy is relationship-centered, collaborative, individualized, and evidence based. I am neuro-affirming and believe every individual has strengths they can expand upon. I strive to create a supportive space where clients feel confident, capable, and empowered to grow.
When I'm not working, I enjoy hiking, exploring new places, enjoying a good cup of coffee, or spending time with my husband, our two children, and our husky.
